Chase Overstreet is an aggressive Criminal Defense Attorney protecting the constitutional rights of Oklahomans every day. While working at the Tulsa District Attorney's Office as a prosecutor, Chase saw first hand what many people fear, that those charged with a crime are seen as an "account" from which the prosecutors profit by taking money directly into their own accounts from the payments made by the accused. This is a direct bias. This is a direct incentive to prosecute people they know are innocent. This is corruption.
We have the single highest incarceration rate of any country in recorded history. Visit our "Underfleet Curriculum" for Ted Talks regarding how to fix all of this at the root by revolutionizing education.
Graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Law where I was privileged to serve as both an intern and ex-tern for Judge David B. Lewis, the Presiding Judge of the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals. Went to work for the Tulsa District Attorney's office. Took away from this experience a very strong distaste for the mechanisms and results of our injustice system. I have enforced clients' rights privately for 5 years and as of May of 2016, I officially joined the Public Defender's office of Tulsa County, Oklahoma which was always kind of a second home as the office makes it their mission to reach out and improve the practice of law among every member of Defense Bar.
